Destiny 2 Lost Sectors Today: The One Bug Players Are Begging Bungie to Fix
Why the Lost Sectors Glitch Is Trending Hard Right Now
Everyone is sharing clips of broken Lost Sectors on social feeds. That attention brings Destiny 2 Lost Sectors Today: The One Bug Players Are Begging Bungie to Fix into sharp focus. Streamers keep running into it during daily runs.
Destiny 2 Lost Sectors Today: The One Bug Players Are Begging Bungie to Fix is a patrol path clipping through geometry. Enemies phase through floors, and loot markers sit in midair. Research shows this happens when public events overlap with sector zones. Studies indicate server hitboxes sometimes reject valid steps.
How the Bug Actually Behaves
Suddenly, your character slides or sinks below the map. Missions fail, and crucible playlists stay stuck at the sector entrance. Some players see weapons floating in walls. Streamers report that falling through is very common near certain rocks.
Either restart the sector or wait for a soft reset to clear it. Season frames and map changes sometimes decide whether the bug appears. A simple reload fixes it often, but not always.
Why It Hurts Right Now
This bug wastes daily resets and pinnacle gear grinds. Time spent stuck offline is time lost from seasonal quests and artifact rolls. Players worry it might become permanent if Bungie patches other systems first.
Even small exploits can shift meta expectations for patrol routes. Consistent fixes usually arrive fast when community heat is high. Many hope the next patch turns this hazard back into fair play.
What makes this specific Lost Sectors bug different?
It locks players outside maps instead of just soft-locking loot. Most bugs keep you inside sectors; this one breaks loading.
Should I keep running if I spawn inside geometry?
Leave and reload; waiting rarely helps if Bungie has not hotfixed it. Track known outages on official channels before starting runs.
